Skills For the Information Age (SFIA)
SFIA defines the skills and competencies required by professionals who design, develop, implement, manage and protect the data and technology that power the digital world.
SFIA has developed a skills assessment framework as a consistent way of assessing and diagnosing professional skills and competencies. The SFIA Foundation has developed guidance and recommendations to help drive good practice and consistency of outcome when using the framework.
The Australian Digital Capability Framework
The Australian Digital Capability Framework describes the broad digital capabilities required by the Australian workforce.
Using common, easily understood language, and a simple, intuitive structure, the Framework can be used for multiple purposes, thereby aligning and strengthening a wide variety of efforts to build the digital capability of the nation’s workforce.

Australian Skills Classification
The Australian Skills Classification (ASC) was developed by jobs and skills australia to provide a common language of skills to increase understanding and recognition of skills across occupations, sectors, and contexts.
Jobs and Skills Australia has also developed a jobs and skills atlas which provides an overview of the labour market at national, state and regional level by occupations, skills and industries.
O*Net
O*NET Program is the primary source of occupational information in the US, developed by the National Center for O*NET Development and sponsored by U.S. Department of Labor, employment & training administration.
O*Net provides comprehensive skills and occupation information. For skills, it provides data on skills (including cross-functional skills), knowledge, interests, abilities, work activities and more. For occupations, it provide data on occupations with bright outlooks, hot technology, industry, job families and more.
